Fishing is a way of life in Lagos waterfront communities such as Otodo Gbame, a predominantly Egun fishing settlement in Lekki. For generations, people across Lagos State and beyond have bough fish -- both fresh and smoked -- from Egun fishermen living along the Lagos Lagoon and other waterfronts.
